Erik´s grandfathers family are from Malmbäck in Jönköping parish.

Erik's grandmother's family are from the Thornberg-family. They where blacksmith's in Kopparberg- och Gävleborg parish. In the 1700 century they came to Orsa in Sweden from Finland.

Do you recognize this man?

Does anyone know who this man is? The picture is taken in Skara, Sweden, the year is 1892. He was probably a soldier at the "Skånska husarregementet" in the south of Sweden. In 1891/92 he should have been placed at Axevalla not far from Skara.
