75% of the family lived in Torsås and Dänningelanda in the county Småland, Sweden. They where all farmers or crofters. The oldest information about the ancestries from Torsås has been done by Tomas Alriksson. He has also published booklets with his research of the farms in Torsås which gave me a lot of help in my reseaching. The branch from Gotland comes from the south part of the island, for example Hemse and Öja where they where farmers.
